Natly Mohan

It’s a privilege to welcome Natly Mohan, the new Junior Administrator on our Umatter International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) team, to The Unisure Group.

If joining our IPMI team during one of the busiest months ever didn’t phase Natly, then nothing will. She’s passionate about admin, data and processes, and has mastered numerous administrative roles, including working at a prominent local bank as a FICA consultant and sales receptionist, and as a group schemes administrator for a local health insurance company.

For a self-confessed introvert, it’s not surprising to learn that Natly is happiest when she’s keeping busy doing the crucial behind-the-scenes work that makes the Umatter product tick. That’s a good thing, too, what with Umatter’s successful launch in Kenya this month and an upcoming launch in Nigeria next month.

“I’m loving the training so far,” she says with a big smile. “My focus has been helping our team upload the numerous new applications we’re receiving and doing price reviews. I’ll be trained on the Umatter claims process soon, and after that I’ll also be assisting our new members with welcome packs and answering any Umatter queries they may have.”

Natly is fully behind Umatter’s mission to “do IPMI differently”, and she sees a bright future ahead for the company.

“Unisure is in a great position within the market, and it’s expanding and growing rapidly. I love the fact that our IPMI offering isn’t only focused on the global market, but also on investing within the African continent.”

Besides a passion for health insurance, reading, and all things administrative, Natly has completed a higher certificate in paralegal studies and has a dream of completing a BCom and LLB degree in the future.

“I’ve always wanted to direct my career in a legal direction. My dream would be to work in corporate law one day, possibly joining Unisure’s Legal & Compliance department.”
